Initial development ore from the Timmins Mine is coming from a surface ramp being driven to access ore from above the 400 metre level. Ramp development began in early September 2008 with the ramp having advanced approximately 1,370 metres (200 metre vertical depth) as of September 30, 2009.
You're correct. However, in my defence, by the standards of San Gold, who ran development ore for 2 years while claiming to be "Canada's newest gold producer", I feel somewhat justified. I say that with tongue firmly in cheek, of course.
The point is, LSG is not an exploration play. There is infrastructure in place: roads, mills, shafts, declines. It is a far cry from the likes of RMX.
