Careful how you treat the "moose."

A drift miner from La Belle Province after night shift in Dec '65 reported seeing a moose on the 1200 ft level at Giant in YK. NWT! (shortly thereafter additional rich veins were discovered branching off the same level! It was never determined whether the two were related!)

A few days later a live rooster, (bloodied but still crowing!) accompanied a load of muck from the same stope dropping 150 ft down an ore-pass. (Fowl play was suspected!) The tram operator took a three day medical leave after the second incident! (Not the full story but no doubt enough to pique your interest!)

The message here might have been, "Crow loudly after rich veins are discovered by whatever means but expect to be bloodied occasionally by a market that is capable of inflicting more pain than ore hurtling down a raise!(ore-pass)"

Presently sitting under a palm tree waiting for another "coco-nut" to drop! SAN has dropped a few lately!

You all know what it means to have the "coco-nuts?" (a poker term!)

Which is, IMHO, is what SHers in SAN currently hold; the "coco-nuts!"
