the hinge and 007 zones etc have been detected from around 100m deep and are thought to go down to 'deep'.

my question is, these zones with their veins ~ do they ever come to surface somewhere above this area, or is there some universal overlying geology that is different, and means they all (or mostly) stop or stay 100m down? I'm aware the original san antonio find was surface gold on the banks of the rice lake.

the fella's all those decades ago must have done a helluva job finding the places to dot those shafts north of the mine, if they are on the hinges ~ must have been based on some kind of surface finds??

anyone have the difinitve?
