- Grades were slightly below budget this quarter due to mining the
narrower extensions in No. 1 and No. 3 veins at the Hinge mine
resulting in higher % dilution coupled with a higher proportion of
development at Rice Lake.

Doing your own DD is very important as it is only you that has to decide if this is a winner or not. It looks to me like the production from both mines and the mill are ramping up nicely. The D winze has shown why it is an achilles heel and because of that the news of new developement above 26 level is welcome. Unfortunately the developement of new stopes and mining of the narrower less valuable veins has led to a reduction in grade as Developement ore usually has a lot of waste rock mixed in. I am guessing, however IMHO management has chose to take a slower path to CFpositive. You can imagine what the howls would be if they mined the good stuff now producing a big number only to be followed by a quarter with a reduction in ounces due to developement or mining of skinnier veins.
