Thanks for the detailed response Silver. Buying low and selling higher can be accretive for some but many sell high only to realize that they've missed the train when the stock continues to move higher. It has happened to me on a number of trades when all the indicators (stochastics, RSI, MACD, MA's etc.) suggested that the stock would drop. At the time you sold those 10,000, these same indicators suggested the share price would continue to rise. It did, so it would seem you were early on the trade. Hence my query.

You have an investment strategy and you're making money doing what you do so all the power to you. Some traders just have more skill than others (me). I've pretty much given up day trading because it takes too much time and I simply hate seeing a stock I just sold take off! Instead, I'm investing in stocks that I think will appreciate well over time, SGR being one of them.
