Why not put the deep mine on care and maintainence yet still do exploration drilling from underground and mine only the near surface high grade zones until such time as at laest 1 quater of positive cash flow is achieved?

This could prove that the low hanging fruit is a least proven to be viable, which has not been actually proved yet.

A similar plan may prove that not all deposits are high cost to mine and that profit can be achieved? Once done confidence can be increased, value obtained and dollars used to streamline the entire operation. The company can then ensure that ore from the deep mine can be brought to surface and milled at a profit.
