Gord, There is an old saying, if you can't handle the heat get out of the kitcken. IMHO we are in unpresedented times and are going to see very emotional wild swings in the POG and the equity markets over the coming months(years). As far as I am concerned the big picture is still intact. There is no way that the governments here and abroad can pay their debts to society. Inflation(tax on savings) is the only way out of this mess. It matters not to me the daily fluctuations in POG or SP, what I am focused on is having my investments in hard assett that cannot be inflated away. I currently own a certain percent of all the gold in the RLM and all the other deposits controlled by SGR. I will own that percentage until I am bought out or sell, hopefully at a higher price. The risk I am taking is if the POG drops too low and we start burning all our cash creating a need for more dilution. Imho the risk here is no more onerous than the risk of fiat money becoming worthless.
