IMHO this move does not suggest for a minute a lack in confidence of Dale's ability or contributions. I think it officially signals the recognition of the tranformation from explorer to producer. Dale will need someone to run production while he is busy running the company. We could speculate on all sorts of reasons why this move was made, however I prefer to wait and see what plays out.
