You need to pay a third party. Since the advent of HFT and the beginning of the melt up, Alpha is the platform of choice for pro's because of the low transaction costs. Paying for depth is just a cost of doing business and the banks aren't going to give something they have to pay for away for free until they can figure out a way for someone to pay for it.
