Rookie: I agree. I also hold VMS and about 30 other mining Company stocks.
VMS is a good example of a mining Company that is tuned in to the enormous value, (to the Company), of keeping its shareholders well informed of all news and developments. This relieves the individual investor of having to keep contacting the Company to:
(1) find out what's happening and why;
(2) find out what's not happening and why;
(3) chase down rumours, true or false.
I, and am sure many others, have found, over the years, that the CEO's or designated executive officers, who take the time to keep shareholders up to date on all significant developments, invariably, and almost without exception, enjoy a more enhanced and stable share price.
This is especially true when the Company is in the early production years and has ongoing development and exploration work.
