Dale Ginn has been nominated along with 2 other individuals for the Ernst and Young Canadian Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
There is an insert in the Saturday Wpg Free Press with a feature article on each individual.
A couple of quotes from the article:
"We fully intend to become one of the world's major gold producers," says Ginn.
Later on, he says his ambition is to turn San Gold into a mid-tier gold producer turning out 300,000 to 500,000 counces a year.
Let's all hope his ambitions become reality. Having been a solid believer in SGR and long-time and long-term share holder, the share price erosion over past few months has had me really questioning where this co is headed.
Hopefully, all the high-growth money has now moved on, and I know the company is seriously pitching to money looking for a more 'predictable' rate of growth, which is more patient money.
I guess time will tell.
