Strange that after all the years of each company's seperate issues - good and bad, that their market caps are only $16 million apart.
I can see it now, San Gold - Lake Shore amalgamate. SGR shareholders get 1.28 shares in newco as LSG shareholders get 1 then a 1:2 rollback. Then a bought deal financing for $200 million at 5$ with G for 10% of company.
So if you have 100k shares, you end up with 128k in the newco pre roll back. That gets split in 2 to 64k so the newco ends up with 360 million shares outstanding, G picks up 40 million shares for $200 million. New company is worth $2billion with 400 million shares out and ready to expand.
Would you rather have 100k at 1.83 or 64k at $5? This is how they will pillage our shares.
