I read everyday, however I am still hurting from the 20,000 ounces last quarter. I also am questioning my rationale to stick it out with this one. The gold bull has given us many opportunities to make huge piles of money, however SGR has now seemed to have found a price level under my average of $1.89. I still feel safe in my thesis and SGR fits the bill on the drawing board, but I would prefer to be making money instead of treading water. Don't get me wrong as I have no intentions of selling at this time, however I think it will be tougher to resist lightening up if something really promising comes along. You just need to go back to July 2011 when I was asking Silver on the OT board about PVG. SGR was over 3 1/2 bucks and PVG was under 9. How many of these opps are we going to get, assumming that each buy takes time to mature and the bull will not last forever. Most of my San shares are in RRSP accounts and I would have to be pretty damn sure about another investment before I sold any shares only to be sitting in cash, or a spec play with no cash generation.

If you look at the drilling patterns it is pretty obvious we are going to get another 43-101 sooner than later and that event will definitely be a value adding event as our current price gives us nothing. The last six weeks of Q4 was producing at a rate that should have given us guidance. I have yet to hear an official explanation as to what the head grade was and why the recovery was so low. Maybe the new floatation circuits were not performing well and they did not realize it until it was too late. This could have been due to the push to acheive guidance. It would be nice if george would let SH's know how many ounces were produced in January ASAP and whether or not the 2012 guidance is going to be an issue. It would also be a nice gesture to SH's if the company would give us an honest answer to a time line on the resource estimate. Even torture is bearable if you have that light shining at the end of the tunnel and you can tick off the days on your calender.
