I would agree with that if I didn't hear from IR's lips that George knew 80k wasn't going to be achieved yet he stuck to it to keep employee moral up. Short term pain for the bigger picture. Screw the shareholders and the shareprice (my opinion after hearing this). I recorded the conversation as it was in a public place.
Lunch, what is the bigger picture ?
So far I see it as, run the re-openned mine for decades, regardless of profit and rate of return for shareholders, employ the community and family, pay Management big salaries and bonuses, grant options with no money at risk, issue Flow throughs so Mgmt can reduce their taxes, drill like crazy using mainly Wynne drilling, keep the town and local businesses growing, issue shares at any price because it's free money......Whats left ? pave the road to Bissett ?
Did I miss anything ?
