I have asked the question in a private message to Agoracom, but have not gotten a reply.

I would like to know why a valued member of this board was banned for comments that were both appropriate and did not break the 6 rules of Agoracom.

Many of us here valued the posts made by Silverback.

His was a contrary view point which is needed by some to be able to see both sides of an argument, in order to make informed decisions.

I feel that we are all at a loss on this board, and would like an explanation as to why the former member was banned.
