Pirie out, Petroff in - December 3, 2009

the damage has already been done, Petroff was already on the BOD so if Pirie is out, expect some other useful idiot on SGR's board to take his place.

Buyout offer - June 15, 2011

http://business.financialpost.com/2011/06/15/breakwater-sees-takeover-as-best-option/

The deal

-- C$7.00 in cash per common share, representing a total value of

approximately C$619 million to be paid by Nyrstar (the "Nyrstar Offer").

-- A special dividend of C$0.50 in cash per common share (the "Breakwater

Special Dividend") to be declared payable to Breakwater shareholders of

record on the business day immediately prior to the take-up of shares by

Nyrstar pursuant to the offer. This represents a total value of

approximately C$44 million to be paid by Breakwater, as consented to by

Nyrstar under the Support Agreement.

In conclusion, given the 10:1 rollback, original long retail shareholders that were around for the ride essentially got 70 cents per original share and a 5 cent dividend.

The high was $35.40 share. The low was 80 cents. Both pre rollback. So in Pirie's tenure as CEO the sp went from ~4$ to >35 and by the time the smoke had settled all you got was 75 cents. Imagine how many families lost their savings.

This should almost be criminal.

The only thing that will save us is a parabolic spike in gold and a considerable increase in production or if there is a rollback, buy right out of the gate.

To the BOD, you need to punt Pirie but it aint going to happen given the size of ownership by the world's biggest asshole and his son.

As far as a class action lawsuit, you would need to prove intent.
