Thanks for your vote Quantum, but I wasn't campaigning for a seat on the board of SGR.

Kind of funny that you said that and then SRG comes out with the news release on the Advance Notice Clause.

From the news release and how it is worded, I would suspect that the BOD are worried about a hostile entity trying to get seats on the board.

The time frame would give the BOD a chance to outmanoevre whomever is wanting to appoint board members, or to thwart any other business that could be brought up at the AGM. Since there would be a quoram, the BOD could lose control over some issues without putting it to a vote of all shareholders.

This seems reasonable, and is another layer of protection for the company.
