Well, that will suit China just fine.....because that is exactly what they want. I am more inclined to believe that the Chinese (and others) are keeping the price down in the paper market so they can scoop up the remaining physical with, still relatively strong, dollars. The Americans (the West) need inflation, so I do not see how they are going to do that and keep the price of gold down.
