I had talked to Tim Friesen last week and he suggested the reason the grades are low is that they were drifting wide enough to use a jumbo. You will have to bare with me as I am not an expert. Because of this they were removing an additional couple of feet of rock on the outer edges of the veins. He also mentioned that much of the developement plan is being done in conjunction with the mining so extra rock is also being removed because of this. He did say, however that they are now using smaller equiptment and because of this less rock is removed. Hopefully some of this will show up with better grades in the near future.
