What an utter load of carp.

I took a long walk with my dog this weekend and spent some time reflecting on some of the stocks that I have purchased and sold over the last 5 years.

WOW

I have had some winners, but I have also had some losers too. The winners have kept me in the game, I have not lost any money over that span of time when all is balanced.

One stock, I still have hope that they will come back, the path is there, and the management has been very good. Just some bad luck with welbore conformance and a debt issue. SGR is in the same boat. They are having grade issues because they don't know how to mine this one with any kind of efficiences. NOW they are concerned about their mining methods. This one also has problems with debt.

The difference though is in the management. The management of SGR, in my opinion, is nothing short of incompetent, or else they are blase about it because they are hitting on great salaries for a company that can't make any money, and they are trying to "HOPE" that they can continue with the gravy train. Some have even moved on to other gravy trains. Word to the wise, don't buy into what they have anywhere else, the results will be the same.

Fortunately I was forced to take some profit back when the share price was around 3.55, after I sold about 60% of my holdings in SGR, the price just kept climbing, and I thought, oh what rotten luck. I bought a car, the only use for the money that I wanted to use it for, and thought to myself, bought an orange for the price of a diamond.

Well, I am not sure if the joke is on me or on SGR, turns out I bought the diamond for the price of a lemon. WOO HOO.

Now as the walk with my dog progressed, he did his business and I had to clean it up. That was when it hit me!! Doesn't matter the breed of the dog, a dog is a dog and it will always do the same business. If I don't want to clean it up anymore, I should just get rid of the dog.

Only difference here is that I love my dog, I no longer love SGR and haven't for quite some time. I also just realized that I am carrying around a dead dog, I may as well take of the leash and just say goodbye.

Thanks fellas, its been a slice of lemon.
