I had a chance to visit a bit with John Knowles, CEO of Wildcat after the San Gold AGM. Some things I took away from the visit were:

- Wildcat has a top-class geological team that is developing an exploration plan for its properties; work includes mapping and surveying plus some initial drilling.

- Wildcat seems to like joint-ventures with others where the other firm will do the major part of actual drilling and associated work to prove the mineral resources on the property e.g. JV with Marum on the Poundmaker property to the west of SGR; e.g. JV with Harvest Gold on property adjacent to Wildcat's Jeep property (see March 20th News Release).

- Wildcat has some choice property in the Snow Lake, MB area (near Reed Lake) positioned in the midst of other adjacent properties with proven mineralization (Copper, Nickel, Zinc) and survey results indicate these minerals could also be present on the Wildcat property, and possibly platinum also.

- Wildcat has a large property stake near Foster River, Sask. with widespread showings of Zinc as well as some lead and silver; there will be active surveying and mapping going on there this summer.

- Wildcat raised a fair bit of money through the recent private placements in order to carry on its exploration work.

- There are still some legal goings-on between the former CEO and the Company, but it seems doubtful that anything adverse will come out of them. John Knowles has taken over as the new CEO and is moving forward with the company's objective: exploration.
