Here is an example of cost

buy 100 shares of something at 40$ a share = 100*0.01 = 4$ but min of 5$ so cost 5$

buy 1500 shares of something at 40$ a share = 1500*0.01 = 15$ but max of 10$ so cost 10$

buy 750 shares of something at 40$ a share = 750*0.01 = 7.5$

You cant beat those fees.
