Although this report is well beyond me, is does go into detail on structural control and ageing of gold bearing infows; 'hosted by quartz-carbonate vein systems in discrete brittleductile shear zones or complex networks of shear and tensile fractures.'
And there are loads of images of all the rock types, foliations etc to enjoy.
