BARKERVILLE CONFIRMS CTO ISSUED BY BCSC AND IS RESPONDING
The British Columbia Securities Commission has issued a cease trade order, effective Aug. 14, 2012, against Barkerville Gold Mines Ltd., disclosing that the company filed a technical report on Aug. 13, 2012, that was not in the required form under National Instrument 43-101, Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects.
The company is advised that the cease trade order will remain in place until the company files a technical report acceptable to the BCSC and addresses all technical disclosure concerns. The company is working diligently to address the BCSC's concerns and will file a revised technical report for the BCSC to review as soon as possible.

A cease trade order has been issued by the British Columbia Securities Commission on Aug. 14, 2012, against Barkerville Gold Mines Ltd. for failing to file a technical report for the Cariboo gold property in the required form and within the required time period supporting Barkerville's disclosure of the change in mineral resources at Cow Mountain.
Upon revocation of the cease trade order, the company's shares will remain suspended until the company meets TSX Venture Exchange requirements. Members are prohibited from trading in the securities of the company during the period of the suspension or until further notice.
