InvestmentPitch.com Video News Alert for Seafield Resources (SFF - TSX.V) - Seafield Reports 1.75 Grams Per Tonne Gold over 94 Metres in Trench Channel Samples from Columbia

VANCOUVER, BC--(Marketwire - December 8, 2010) - InvestmentPitch.com's video news alert discusses Seafield Resources' Quinchia gold project in the department of Risaralda, Columbia.

Seafield Resources, symbol SFF on the TSX Venture Exchange halted their stock last Thursday, pending news from the first three drill holes at their Miraflores property in Columbia.

James West, publisher of the Midas Letter, had a buy alert on these drill results out to his subscribers before the opening Friday, calling this deposit a potential home run, and comparing it to Ventana.

For those unfamiliar with Ventana Gold, symbol VEN on the TSX Venture, they also have a gold deposit in Columbia, less than 400 kilometres to the north-east of Seafield. Ventana, currently trading near $13.00 could be purchased less than two years ago for about $0.04 per share.

Seafield announced results, including 449 metres grading 1.29 grams per tonne of gold, including a 23.95 metre segment grading 9.18 grams per tonne. When Seafield resumed trading on Friday, it opened at $0.35, moving up to $0.77 before closing at $0.57 on 70 million shares.

Seafield is drilling on the recently obtained Quinchia gold and copper project, where several large scale gold discoveries have been made, including the 12.9 million ounce La Colosa deposit owned by AngloGold Ashanti.

The company has already outlined an inferred resource of 776,000 ounces of gold at Miraflores, and has now moved their diamond drill about three kilometres to the northwest, to extend the gold mineralized porphory discovered in 2006. They plan to drill up to 3,000 metres in 8 holes.

Seafield's second release reported 1.75 grams per tonne gold over 94 metres from trenching at the southern end of an anomaly that extends about 700 metres by 550 metres.
