Sidon Completes Sixth Drill Hole, MEG Project, Tanzania

SIDON INTERNATIONAL RESOURCES CORP. (TSX-V: SD; FWB: SY7; US: SIDNF)

Sidon International Resources Corp. (“the Company”) reports on its drilling program on the Company’s MEG Property southeast of Morogoro in east-central Tanzania.

Company management is on site reviewing the drilling progress to date and outlining the steps forward for drilling operations.

The Company contractor, AFGF (Tanzania) Ltd., has reported that the first 6 holes have been completed, along 900 metres of strike length. AFGF further reports that it has identified vein mineralization adjacent to the workings of the Primary Mining License mining area, and zones of disseminated sulphides of pyrite and pyrrhotite as well as some chalcopyrite and arsenopyrite throughout all six drill holes for intervals of 30-70 metres. The Company contractor has initiated cutting and sampling of the total length of each hole. AFGF has indicated to the Company that all samples will be sent to ALS Chemex in Mwanza for analysis and that results for all the 6 holes will be reported when complete.

AFGF president Laurence Stephenson said, “Now that the zone has been identified, additional drilling is recommended to extend the strike length and to investigate the down dip extent of the zone. Its juxtaposition between the two placer areas of the Prospecting License in a low energy environment is very positive to the presence of gold in the system.”

Geologically the host rock is ganetiferrous metasedimentary gniesses and granulites with silicification.

The content of this release has been reviewed and approved by Laurence Stephenson, P.Eng., a qualified person as defined by National Instrument 43-101.

Sidon International Resources is a junior exploration company currently focussing on the exploration and development of its hard rock and placer gold properties in Tanzania.

ON BEHALF OF THE BOARD
