News for 'SFMI' - (Silver Falcon Mining, Inc. (SFMI) Altered Horizon in Owyhee County)

MURPHY, ID, Oct 15, 2009 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- Silver Falcon Mining, Inc.,
(PINKSHEETS: SFMI) announces the onset for drilling for water at its Diamond
Creek Mill. The drillers assure SFMI that plentiful w! ater will be found at very
reasonable depth and the presence of the drilling rig is the first of a number
of changes to occur in Owyhee County. Water remains a necessary and precious
resource for milling activities and the Company's property has ample supply. The
appearance of the rig against the skies of Owyhee marks the beginning of
numerous changes to benefit our shareholders as well as the local population in
Owyhee County, Idaho.

SFMI has also started moving in some heavy equipment to strip and pile the
overburden for future use on the property. This overburden will eventual be used
for reclamation purposes from the company's milling activities.

Construction activities as such, over the next few days will provide the
Company's Diamond Creek Mill facility with a full access road and a mill office
place onto its permanent foundation.

Mr. Pierre Quilliam, President, stated, "We are excited to see the development
happening! as a direct result of the efforts of our Idaho team and the support of
our shareholders who believed in us for the last few years. We will post
pictures of the activity on our site and we should have a direct camera feed
from the mill site by the end of the month."
