The ore stored in Melba has to be moved no matter what before their lease is up. I think the lease could be renewed (it's prepaid until the end of the year), but no sense paying extra to store the ore.

No reason not to move as much ore as possible down right away. Maybe the revenue will be enough to expand the mill and we'll need as much ore as possible available!
