Sorry, it's been a wild few days. Anyway...

There was some confusion on the part of Scottrade as to exactly what needed to be done. They finally determined that I needed to pay a $95 fee to them, they issue the paperwork to the transfer agent, the TA takes care of the conversion, and the company issues the new certificates to me. I was also informed that it will take between 4-6 weeks (hopefully the COMEX doesn't collapse before then!)

On another note, the stellar 30yr. treasury auction seems to have the conspiracy bugs buzzing. Seems that most on the floor are convinced that the FED is, to quote Art Cashin, "putting on a fake moustache and a raincoat and coming in as an indirect buyer." If this is true, we are not very far away from the whole global financial system receiving its final death blow. Here's the link to the video:
