Agree that the "other board" does have some positive aspects. Much more active, and maybe the best site for specific stocks. Lots of fluff, especially for companies drawing a lot of attention. Also lots of bashers who know how to stay within the rules, unlike many serious investors who just get frustrated trying to respond. But some very good DDers over there. Sometimes you just have to hold your nose and wade in to get to the good stuff.
As to me, I don't "pump" (and I don't consider your posts "pumping", either). I do promote in terms of trying to spread the word and provide information, but I try to do it openly and honestly, without exaggeration. Don't have to exaggerate with SFMI. I also try to take on the bashers when it seems necessary.
