Well, I thankfully this hub is much more undersatanding than Iblub. Let's face it folks, any and all credible information that relates to SFMI is going to help us all with our personal deliberations on how we invest. That's why I post articles, parts of articles and/or my own opinions on the PM/JPM markets.
We live in a world of informaton overload. Sometimes I read through a dozen articles and summarize them in my word file...planning to post them on certain JPM boards. Quite often I just delete them because I realize I got carried away with myself and it is just far too much information...and it doesn't directly relate to SFMI...but to the PM markets/global scene in general.
As for the SFMI/GHDC information that Anton has researched laboriously, it is definitley interesting for me...but it may be too much for others. Sometimes the reason I post some info is for the sake of newcomers to the JPMs...so it may seem rudimentary for most longs here. Anton has in-depth knowledge of geology and finance...and he does a great job of communicating with relevant SFMI/GHDC contacts. All this takes time and effort...just like it does for Oryx, DC and all the others who take the time to express their credible and educational thoughts here. All this collective informaton is a gift that others have the opportunity take extreme advantage of. For newcomers and the more sceptical, it is understandable that they may be initially guarded. That's why doing some research on their behalf is so vital. After all, it is all readily available...but it takes effort and time. I try to remember that may do not have that time.
Why do we do this? Well, most of us have a huge stake in the outcome of this investment (as well as othe JPMs we may hold). Don't forget that many of us make our living this way...and whatever the number of shares one may have accumulated...I always try to remember that...whether it is 1000 shares or 1 million shares, that that investment to that person is every bit as relevant to one as it is to the other. Losing or profiting by $1000 or $10,000 can be equally as disheartening or exhilerating depending on one's circumstances. The object is to make a reasonable return on our hard earned money.
Investing can be a very emotional career, vocation or even hobby. A genuine, principled, intelligent individual can be very loyal to his/her convictions bred out of research, knowledge, deductive reasoning and conviction. Much effort may be invested along with the relevent money. Loyalty and emotion can seep into our intentionally "objective" deliberations. Many of us take pride in our conclusions. Many can understand the pride others take in their opinions. Respect given is respect deserved. Whether one is new to investing and the JPM markets...or whether one has been involved a very long time...we all have something new to learn everyday...at least I do. Dang hard thing is trying to remember it all. We all make mistakes.
I am sure some of us here just wish people would realize what an incredible opportunity SFMI and/or GHDC is/are. If we could just convince some of them of that and see them realize their objectives we would be quite rewarded. Yes, we all make money, but the more the merrier...especailly considering how extremely difficult things are going to be...and how few opportunites there are out there for most to become more secure through their investments...how many middle class people are losing or going to lose their jobs...how inflation is about to swamp millions.
Most of us realize all this and know what gold and silver represent...real security, real protection of value, real proetection against inflation and hyperinflation...real currency. We know that investing in quality JPM stocks will outperform the ravages of inflation. We know that most will never hold gold or silver in their safet deposit boxes.
Congratulations to all who post here in good faith...and Ibelieve that is most.
