SFMI has no control over when they get the news, but is planning to put out a PR as soon as they get the numbers. From what I hear the smelter was closed for a couple days because of bad weather (does that mean the smelter is in an area that got snowed in?), so getting the numbers might take longer than expected. Maybe the timing right now wouldn't be as good at eliciting a market resoponse as opposed to after Christmas (or even after New Year's- next week a lot of people are off), but I don't think they should delay. And they should have more PRs coming anyway- there are ways to repeat the information and get more mileage out of it. These first numbers will just put a floor on expected earnings. The subsequent numbers from the Oso ore will provide a better idea of what's to come.
