Check the ihub stickies for a report by oryx on the SHM. It was two days (three if you also went to the GHDC meeting). GHDC Thursday at the mill, SFMI Friday, tour of mine sites on Saturday. Saturday was also Silver City's open house, so the tour included Silver City. All transportation provided from the "official" hotels, as well as meals during the meetings and tours. I stayed at one of the official hotels.

I'm hoping the SHM also coincides w/ Silver City days again this year, since I already have plans a couple of other weekends in Sept. That would make it Thursday or Friday to Saturday, Sept 15/16 to 17th if it is timed for the Silver City open house.
