I may be mistaken, but I am under the impression that the smelter that is being built (on SFMI land - at the mill) is to melt the concentrate down and produce dore bars. I believe dore bars contain both gold and silver (and probably other stuff, too). I also am under the impression that these are then sold to a refinery, where the nasty stuff using chemicals, etc. is used to get the actual, pure gold and silver out.

So we don't really produce gold and silver at the mill smelter, do we?

Hmmm, maybe the concentrate is separated well enough to be poured as primarily gold or primarily silver... But then you have the other stuff (silver sulfate?) which can't be melted into bars.

Ok,now I'm totally confused. I bet we will find out about (and see) all of this stuff in September! I can hardly wait!
