I've been watching from a distance, and have mixed feelings about the upcoming news. As DC stated, and we have to assume this because we have heard nothing official as of yet, they are still processing the "crappy stuff." This is no slam on the company, because in the June 8K they stated that the mill is processing the "crappy stuff" which is "intended to prepare and fine tune the mill to extract gold and silver for further production and future acquisition." This is what I see at the present moment, and that's o.k. by me.

It may be a fact that they are pouring gold. It may be a fact that there is 1M tons of above ground ore (and I happen to believe that figure.) It may be a fact that their own lab is expediting samples to reveal the richest piles. This all may be true...but the company's bane has been rumor and speculation for far too long. Many of us took a substantial position because of fact...many of us invested way too much based on rumor. I'm not a rich guy. I was in way over my head. Now that we have cleared out the speculative money, and come back to reality, are we going to create another unrealistic bubble based on the same thing that got us into trouble...rumor??? Not I. Not again.

Do I believe in the long-term direction of SFMI? Absoluetly. Heck, I even believe in the short-term direction of the company with a proven mining mind at the helm. He appears to be doing things the right way, and I for one am happy with what I see. I went to the SHM last year. I saw the mill. I saw WEM. I saw the sinker. I spoke with many of you...people who understand the mining world and process alot more than I. I saw the excitement in the townies (unless the whole town was paid off!) I will probably be there again this year in September. I moved my core position into certificate form, which means that I intend to ride this puppy for a while. The only thing that has changed from when I bought my first shares at .019 is that I now think a little more clearly and realistically. I do not need to pump this stock. I do not need to see the pps at elevated heights at this stage in the development of the company. It is right where it needs to be. It is right where it should be...

...and we wait.

Poker players refer to "pot-odds" for a reason. The "pot-odds" may be in your favor, but you never know what the river might reveal. We will see the turn next week. The river is coming at some point this year (and may involve another up and coming mining company whose stock price is screaming.) We can make all the arguments we want based on rumor. Many a great poker player has lost his "all-in" on the river.

I believe they call it gambling.
