The 800,000 tons has hardly been touched. At the present rate of 3000 tons per 3 months (per PR), it would take them over 60 years to mill it all. The more important figure is the grade of what they process until they start mining the good stuff. Hopefully that will be more than the present average of 3 g/t. PQ stated at the last meeting that they would abandon milling the above ground ore as soon as they started mining new ore.

A 43-101 will be nice, but anything they can complete in 6 months surely won't be complete enough to define the total of what is in WEM. My hope is that they complete a small 43-101 covering some high grade areas accessible from the Sinker. And of course they can release drill results in the interim. But even a small 43-101 will demonstrate the kind of resources WEM has, generate some "proven" reserves (and shut up the naysayers- though I'm sure they'll find something else to complain about), get some attention from the industry and potential investors, and help prioritize the areas to be drilled. They can always expand on the 43-101 with more drilling (it's done all the time) and prove up more resources. But I doubt they'll even have drilled up a fraction of the mountain before a major enters the picture.
