I had a nice conversation with Christian Q at the meeting this past September regarding the milling operations. He told me that super concentrate was run through the separation process four times. He told me that there were no other valuable metals in the ore besides silver and gold but the ore contains large amounts of iron that has to be removed before smelting. He said something about the problem of gold attaching to the iron in the smelting process. If this is true, IMO it is possible that last year when they sent the ore out to a commercial smelter a lot of gold was lost this way. They felt ripped off because they did not fully understand the chemistry of their concentrate.
I am going off of memory… so my facts may have been a bit distorted. Does this sound reasonable, Spiny?
