It would have to be a JV similar to the one they cut with ABX in the Cerro Casale project in Chile. Kinross has the site, ABX has the money. Money would be spent on the cleanup on Florida and DeLamar mountains, while paying dearly for the one they let get away (War Eagle.) A costly project, yes, but one well worth the time and money, IMO.
Just speculation, ya know...but you've gotta believe that KGC and ABX are well aware of our little investment.
