As we all know, speculation is short term $ purchase. Investment is investing both $ and time. Is SFMI speculation or investment? In the US the average individual investment time went from 10 years in 1940 to 6 years in 1975 to 1 year today....ahh, the 'instant gratification' society. $150 thrown into the S&P in 1980 would be $1400 today...not good. Decisions, decisions.

If you invested $35 in gold in 1970, then after a 10 years invested that in the Nikki for 10years, then that into the nasdaq 10 yrs.and then that back into gold 10 years...today you would now have $224,000 from the original $35. If you bought 1 ounce of gold in 2002 for $250 you would have $1750 today....'zere goot' (old European perspective).

So, it's all a matter of perspective...and there are no magic time limits or guarantees. Needless to say, most of us do not invest over a 40 year time horizon...except the 'Warren Buffets'. In comparison, a few years is nothing though. In today's corrupt US and Canadian Exchanges anything can happen at any time. That does not mean the Co. we are invested in or speculating in...does not have potential in its own right.

SFMI is in a class of junior stocks that have been pummelled for a reason...and that reason as far as I'm concerned is fear, greed and ignorance. The fear has been and is being carpet bombed upon the whole sector by powerful groups who fear gold and silver. These entities make the mincement out of the JPM markets by way of illegal and opaque suppression...and make a handsom profit doing so. The ignorance is the misguided belief of these western bank cartels in believing it can continue much longer.

Today, and recently, we see 'upstart' juniors that suddenly get out of control and sprout wings...like gold Standard Ventures did today...or others out there. I wonder if they will be jack booted back into their launchpads or be 'allowed' to seek their fundamental and speculative value? This wiill be interesting to watch as the fundamentals for gold and silver scream like air raid sirens that can no longer be denied.

Back to SFMI. How long will it be bolted to its launchpad? What are our individual expections? How much longer can one drone on? Whoops.
