Interesting post. If I remember correctly, American Silver Eagles are supposed to be produced with silver mined in the US. Originally it was supposed to be from defense stockpiles, but those were depleted long ago, and so the requirement changed to domestically produced silver. So what happens when there is not enough domestic silver to meet ASE demand, much less industrial requirements? Things might get interesting...
