From what I have read and heard, the blasting permit was submitted and SFMI is waiting for approval. But maybe what they actually said was that the permitting process was "underway". My impression is that they probably have submitted the blasting permit, but with this latest stuff with the cyanide permit it's impossible to tell. There is a serious credibility problem here. Not only is nothing being done to address it, but the weasel wording continues.
