Frankly, I doubt that $5.5M or $8M or whatever it is will ever be processed. It will be a while before they get the leach pad installed, during which time they will continue to accumulate. But when the leach pad is working, what do they process? I assume the leach capacity will be matched to the mill output, so the leach circuit will process whatever is being produced by the mill, with little extra capacity (I presume). Do they divert the current output and store it in a pile, and meanwhile insert the the accumulated piles into the circuit? Doesn't sond to me like it will happen. Maybe they will put in a high capacity leach circuit (anticipating expansion of the rest of the mill circuit) that will be able to deal with the backlog. But by then you are talking about three years worth of backlog, so I doubt they will make much of a dent in those piles before they start mining fresh ore- presumably of a much higher grade. So which do you process then? The partially depleted stuff that was lower grade to begin with, or the new high grade stuff? I think those piles will be around for quite a long time. Not good enough to process, but too good to throw away. What a waste of two years of mill operations.
