The pictures seem to be old. The ones reposted here by Garick seem to show the mill in the same state of expansion in progress as it was quite a while ago when the last pictures were posted. The PR says the existing building has been extended upwards by 10 feet, which would certainly be obvious if the pictures were recent. Certainly that large tank at the end of the building where the old end wall was torn out could use an extension and a higher roof to enclose it- further evidence that the pictures are pre-expansion. RK's response to Garick is puzzling- The new expansion building is behind the mill? Does that refer to the smelter/vault, or the mill expansion? Again, the PR refers to an expansion of the existing building, not an "addition" or separate building. Remember, the mill building is modular, and was designed to be expanded easily.
SFMI could clear this up easily by posting some official pictures on their website. With the recent PR, it's not as if the mill expansion is a company secret any longer. RK, if you're reading this, it's not enough just to tell us not to rely on "unofficial" pictures when that is all we have. It's your job to provide us with information that we can rely on- and pictures would be a very convincing aspect of that information.
As for the Sinker, same impression- the pictures don't seem to be recent. The grading was finished a long time ago, if the pictures were new you would expect something to have grown there by now, and the equipment tracks on top would have disappeared long ago. The lack of air ducting that Cowboy noted seems to imply an earlier picture more than a shutdown.
So once again we sit here waiting for SFMI to provide us with information.
