The purpose of the assay lab was to give the company quick access to the results, as the out sourcing of samples was expensive and resulted in a couple of months wait. PQ did say that they will using their own lab for the drill results so the delays should be minimal.
In the event that the results are abnormally high they usually do a check assay and then may choose to outsource some for varification. I'm not sure wether in house assays are compliant for N1-4301 purposes, but I believe that if they are signed off by a qualified geo. it passes the test.
