A few comments...

There have been a number of complaints regarding some posts, and one specifically. I'd like to make a few comments.
First, despite the impression some of you have, neither I nor sinbob, the other active board leader, monitor this board 60/24/7. Complaining on the board that I haven't dealt with something is futile and counterproductive if I haven't even been around.
Second, I do not have absolute power. I can't remove messages posted by those above a certain rank (listed below the posters name in a message), even if that poster is subsequently banned. There have been a number of posts that I would have removed if I were able to.
Third, there is a procedure to file complaints, and the first step is NOT griping on the board. At the bottom corner of each post is a "report violation" box. I don't always agree that reported posts are violations or act on every complaint, but I certainly won't take action based on a public complaint if no report is made.
I'd also like to state that being a hub leader is not my "job". I did not ask to be one, I simply was moved into the position by admin because I was one of the early frequent posters here. I have put some effort into it and done what I think is a reasonable job. But if you disagree, then the proper course is to PM me, not to blast me on the board. If enough of you agree, I would be more than willing to turn the reins over to someone else.
Lastly, I have tried to make this board the go to place for reliable information about SFMI. It really doesn't look good if we can't keep the discussion reasonable and at a certain level of maturity. I really shouldn't have to spend my time telling people not to call each other names or to keep the language and posts clean.
