A video game that allows one to kill people just did $800 million over the past few days and has just left the starting blocks. Kids can't cut your grass for safety reasons (should wear polycarbonate protective goggles ... and may get cancer from the herbicides). Playgrounds are too dangerous. You know the scoop poop. Our leaders rot in a sea of self serving greed and corruption. Moral decay ossifies our values. Being corrupt in finance is the way too make it.
How did we ever old cronies ever make it? I got a wood burning kit when I was 7 with a short cord that I plugged in near the drapes... followed by a 'toy' steam engine. We used to play on swing sets with 'A' frame legs that alternately teetered up off the ground as we tried to 'go over the top'. Teeter totters would smash the ground (and your spine) when your 'buddy' jumped off just for joke. We rode our bikes in traffic and down river banks. We played hockey with no equipment, outside. Maybe that's why some of us older folks are more used to risk.
Its a bipolar world.
