I don't think anyone here would disagree with your comments regarding PQ, greed, and the way the company has been run. Sometimes people go after the messenger, though. As far as Earll, I have no doubts that PQ would have tried to cheat him if possible, and probably did. But I have heard some stuff that makes me think that no one is blameless, though I think PQ is the overriding problem. A completely unnecessary mess.

As far as the claims, the maps I have seen look like RS tried to tie up much of the mountain claiming much of what wasn't already taken. I assume the previously mined claims were the richest surface deposits that were obvious (before drilling, etc.). But everything I have seen says the deposits can be traced well beyond the old claims (presumably where RS made his claims for SFMI), and extend further down than previously mined. Maybe the richest known portions don't belong 100% to SFMI, but I'm sure there is a lot worth mining on SFMI's 100% claims. BJ, do you know something you now about the claims that we should know? And as I said before, while SFMI may not be able to mine those old partially owned claims without the cooperation of the other owners, the reverse is also true. Here's hoping PQ goes and the new guys can play nicer than he did.
