Really? You see why they call me a control freak?
Please back that up with some specifics if you wish me to take that comment seriously.
After all, you asked for discussion, and I did some discussing. I gave you my opinions and the reasons for them. I did not order you to do anything in particular at all. What part of this is "control freak"?
If by "control freak" you mean someone who can argue cogently, and back up his arguments with facts and sound reasoning, then, I guess - "guilty as charged"
I understand that many do not share my framework, analytic categories, or assumptions - didn't I say as much?
You are making bald assertions of your own with no data to back them up. Please demonstrate that "Those who buy stocks with no earnings or proved economic reserves are net losers".
For what it is worth, this statment does NOT apply to investments in Silver Standard. It has "proved economic reserves". Maybe not to whatever standard you are inventing for this, but certainly enough to convince Hatch Ltd. and Mine Development Associates, Inc., both of which helped produce reports demonstrating robust mine economics for Pirquitas. Both of these companies have a great reputation and long experience evaluating mining projects.
That is good enough for me to decide that Pirquitas represents "proved economic reserves". Not enough for you?
What standard would you like to apply?
As for "early loses on average": would you like to support that claim also? After all, you claim it is a fact, not just your opinion. If it is a fact, then I am surely an exception to that generalization. Of course, it also depends on what definition of "early" you mean. Would you care to be more precise about the vague term "early"?
Perhaps I am more than just in the broad category of "early"?
Maybe I am in the much smaller sub-category of "early, but does his homework and comes to good decisions before risking too much money"?
Or, perhaps, (and I personally believe this to be true), one who does his homework, gets second opinions, and has also been a beneficiary of divine providence?
(BTW, your lines of argument and basic tenets are beginning to sound more and more like the "Deep" of Yahoo. If you begin talking about "Vancouvers" with derogatory comments, it would be enough to convince me that you were indeed the "Deep of Yahoo")
