Wow - about as cursory a look at is is possible to get.

Never really got to the heart of the matter in any real way.

From the show:

"What is wrong with making a massive bet on the direction you think something is going to go?"

Never even brought up the point that they are in a position to control in which direction it is going to go...

"What is wrong with a basketball coach making a massive bet on the outcome of the game he is coaching?"

Somewhat analogous..

But only somewhat..

Even "making the bet" as it was put, is part of the process of influencing the outcome.

That is why there are position limits - another point not discussed at all.

(Why there are position limits in the first place, and why JPM has not been subject to them)
