Front End Loaders LeTourneau loaders are not only the world's most technologically advanced wheel loaders, but also the world's largest, with the L-2350's 53 cubic yard (40.5 m3) bucket and operating capacity of 160,000 pounds (72,574 kgs).
These machines are plausible alternatives to many hydraulic shovel applications. Designed to swiftly and efficiently load haul trucks with payload ratings ranging from 85 to more than 400 tons, versatile LeTourneau loaders can improve productivity in even the largest earthmoving projects.
All LeTourneau wheel loaders offer features and advantages unmatched by competitive machines, including:
- Independent four-wheel electric drive, for shift-free operating simplicity, superior traction, resistance to wheel slip, regenerative braking, and improved tire life.
- Constant engine rpm, for reduced fuel consumption and engine wear.
- Self-lubricating ball-and-socket joints, to absorb loads from all directions, simplify maintenance, and outlast traditional designs.
- Self-cleaning KLENZ™ air filtration system, for up to 5,000 hours of machine operation between element replacements.
- Dual joystick and LeTourneau Integrated Network Controls (Lincs™) on 50 Series loaders, for faster loading cycles all day long, real-time productivity monitoring and diagnostic feedback, remote modem access of stored data, and more.
A wide selection of bucket types, with custom configurations are available, ensures the right choice for every application.
Note: The L-1350 and L-1850 are replacing the L-1400 and L-1800, respectively.
